Man, merged with nature, and striving for simplicity and practicality, started creating things with love and care. He made them by hand, as it has been done for ages, in his desire to unite practical with beautiful. He used the material that was around him. Each item made in that way, embodied in itself stories and legends of passed centuries, as a small piece of art. It represents experience gained through the contact of numerous generations with nature. Marvellous colours, shapes and sounds of the world around him woven in these items, tell us the ancient story. This story helps us regain something we are about to lose.
Through our programme we hope to contribute to the understanding and connecting of Eastern and European cultures and traditions, and hence reduce the gap between civilisations.
Guided by our curiosity and philosophy, we are like modern Marco Polo. Regardless of huge amounts of detailed information forwarded to us over internet every day, numerous catalogues and our representatives in far Asian countries, we tirelessly travel thousand and thousand of miles, visit the secluded villages, meet wonderful people speaking different languages. Our goal is to discover something new, interesting and useful, something that will pleasantly surprise our customers, something they can enjoy, want to possess and joyfully show the others.
